Japan has successfully launched the Kirameki No. 3 defense communications satellite using an H3 rocket from the Tanegashima Space Center. The satellite is intended for military operations and data exchange between units.

The first H3 missile failed to launch in 2023. After that, countermeasures were taken and three consecutive launches were made.
