Ukrainian choir Songs for Ukraine has sung a carol on the finish of King Charles III's annual Christmas deal with.

Particulars: The choir carried out a brand new association of Carol of the Bells, created based mostly on Shchedryk by Ukrainian composer Mykola Leontovych, at Westminster Abbey.
Soloists Olha Terletska and Arina Koroletska carried out along with members of the Royal Opera Refrain, royal harpist Mared Pugh-Evans and navy musicians from the Royal Air Drive Regiment, Royal Marines and Family Division.
"It was an amazing honour for our choir to participate within the King's Christmas broadcast. Our choir stays a strong voice of the Ukrainian group within the UK, many members of which have been compelled to go away their houses due to the battle," stated Bohdan Parashchak, musical director and chief conductor of Songs for Ukraine choir.
The deal with may be listened to on the Royal Household's official YouTube channel.
Ukrainian choir Songs for Ukraine was created in spring 2023 by the Royal Opera as a response to Russia's full-scale invasion. Round 130 Ukrainians have joined it, most of whom have been compelled to go away their houses due to the battle.
