Royal Navy warships and helicopters have tracked Russian vessel exercise in British maritime waters for the second time this month.

Particulars: The British destroyer HMS Dragon monitored the Russian intelligence vessel Yury Ivanov, which was crusing close to the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland following NATO workout routines within the space.
A Merlin helicopter was launched from the destroyer to collect aerial intelligence on the Russian vessel. The operation continued till the Yury Ivanov turned north, heading again to its base within the Arctic.
In the meantime, Royal Navy ships HMS Ledbury and HMS Hurworth, together with the 814 Naval Air Squadron, have been tasked with monitoring the Russian corvette Stoikiy because it handed westwards by way of the English Channel, escorting two Russian service provider ships.
