Russia assaults Ukraine with 166 drones, 162 of which fail to achieve targets

Russian forces bombarded Ukraine with 166 Shahed assault UAVs and varied sorts of decoy drones on the night time of 26-27 February. 162 drones failed to achieve their targets, as 90 UAVs have been shot down by Ukrainian air defence and one other 72 disappeared from radar.

Quote from the Air Power: "On the night time of 26-27 February 2025 (ranging from 20:00 on 26 February), the enemy attacked with 166 Shahed assault UAVs and varied sorts of decoy drones that have been launched from the Russian cities of Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, Shatalovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

As of 09:00 on 27 February, 90 Shahed assault UAVs and different sorts of drones have been confirmed to have been shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts.

72 enemy decoy drones disappeared from radar (with out damaging penalties)."

Particulars: The Russian assault affected Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts.

The air assault was repelled by Ukrainian plane, anti-aircraft missile troops, digital warfare models and cellular hearth teams of the Air Power and the defence forces.
