The Russians attacked Ukraine with 97 drones on the evening of 7-8 January, round 70 of which have been Shahed loitering munitions. The Ukrainian Air Power has reported that 70 drones have been downed, whereas 27 UAVs have struck their targets.

Quote: "Early experiences present that as of 08:00, air defence items had shot down or jammed 70 enemy Shahed and Gerbera loitering munitions in addition to drones of different varieties over the nation's east and south.

Strikes by 27 assault UAVs had been recorded at 13 places and the autumn of downed drones (particles) at one location."

Particulars: From 19:00 on 7 January, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 97 Shahed and Gerbera loitering munitions in addition to drones of different varieties from the instructions of Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, Chauda and Hvardiiske in briefly occupied Crimea and Donetsk in briefly occupied Donetsk Oblast.

Round 70 of the drones have been Shahed loitering munitions, the Air Power stated.

The aerial assault has been repelled by plane, anti-aircraft missile items, digital warfare property, unmanned techniques items and cell fireplace teams from the Ukrainian defence forces.
