The Russian tanker Khatanga has left the port of Gdynia after eight years in Poland.

Particulars: The vessel has been there since 2017, inflicting losses and threatening the protection of navigation.

"We’re taking Russian scrap out of Poland," Arkadiusz Marchewka stated on Friday.

The deputy infrastructure minister stated the tanker could be despatched to Denmark, the place it might be "minimize into items". The Maritime Administration in Gdynia reported that the vessel already had the official standing of scrap.
