The Safety Service of Ukraine (SSU) has shared a video of Ukrainian prisoners of warfare being launched from captivity on 30 December.

Quote from the SSU: "A complete of 189 Ukrainians have been free of captivity – unique pictures and movies by the SSU.
That is the results of the work of the Joint Centre for the Coordination of Search and Launch of Prisoners of Conflict, executing choices of the Coordination Headquarters for the Therapy of Prisoners of Conflict."
Particulars: Denys Prokopenko confirmed that 11 servicemen from the twelfth Azov Particular Forces Brigade have been introduced house from Russian captivity.
Quote from Prokopenko: "They endured extraordinarily troublesome circumstances for almost three years. Eighty-six days defending Mariupol, intense battles pushing human limits, captivity, imprisonment, interrogations and torture. They didn’t give up, and emerged victorious from this hell."
Extra particulars: Moreover, it has been reported that journalist Oleksandr Hudilin, who defended Ukraine as a part of the Territorial Defence Forces, and former Espreso media journalist Roman Borshch have been additionally freed.
Zelenskyy shared footage of troopers first assembly with their households and buddies after their launch from captivity.

Background: On Monday, 30 December, Ukraine secured the discharge of 189 defenders via the eleventh PoW trade of 2024. Amongst them have been the next:
- 87 servicemen from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with 17 from the Territorial Defence Forces;
- 43 from the Nationwide Guard of Ukraine;
- 33 from the State Border Guard Service;
- 24 from the Navy.
Two civilians have been freed as effectively.
