US President Donald Trump has formally appointed Keith Kellogg as particular envoy to Ukraine, whereas he was beforehand introduced as envoy for Ukraine and Russia.

Background:
- On 27 November, previous to his inauguration, Trump introduced that he had chosen retired Common Keith Kellogg to function his "particular consultant for Ukraine and Russia".
- On 13 March, NBC information reported that Kellogg had been excluded from the high-level talks after the Kremlin mentioned it didn’t need him to take part. In keeping with a Russian official who spoke to NBC Information, Vladimir Putin considers Kellogg "too near Ukraine".
