US President Donald Trump has expressed hope for a productive assembly with Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday 28 December, however remained sceptical about proposals for a "peace settlement" beforehand outlined by the Ukrainian chief.

Particulars: In his dialog with Politico, Trump appeared detached to Zelenskyy's newest proposal and isn’t speeding to approve the Ukrainian president's plan.
"He doesn't have something till I approve it. So we'll see what he's received," he mentioned.
In the meantime, Trump expressed hope that the assembly could possibly be productive.
