This autumn, the agency supplied three generators to support Ukraine in powering border crossings with Moldova and Romania.

"These upgrades help ensure uninterrupted operations during power outages, enhancing the flow of exports," USAID said.

Background:

• In early October, the United States, through the USAID, provided Ukraine with a batch of supplies to protect its energy infrastructure.
