Ukraine's Defence Ministry has denied a New York Submit report that Kyiv is "90% prepared" for Donald Trump's peace plan introduced this week in Paris.
Supply: Ministry of Defence in a remark to Sky Information
Particulars: The New York Submit report, citing a senior Trump administration official, stated that Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umierov instructed US officers that Kyiv was 90% behind the plan introduced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in France.
Nevertheless, in an announcement to Sky Information, Ukraine's Defence Ministry stated it "doesn’t make political selections" and due to this fact couldn’t have made any "assessments of proportion".
Quote from the Defence Ministry: "Now we have a number of principled positions: we supported the US proposal for a full ceasefire again on 11 March, whereas Russia didn’t assist the US ceasefire proposal and continues each day strikes on Ukrainian cities and infrastructure.
Underneath these situations, it’s unclear how anybody might focus on or measure in ‘percentages’ the progress of any dialogue.
Our key query is how to make sure the ceasefire proposal can work and be reliably monitored. We stay in constructive dialogue with our American companions and are totally dedicated to ending this battle."
