Russia attacked Ukraine with 100 drones on the evening of 9-10 August, 70 of which have been destroyed by air defence.

Particulars: Preliminary studies point out that Russian forces carried out a large-scale strike on Ukraine on the evening of 9-10 August, launching 100 assault UAVs of the Shahed kind, together with numerous forms of decoy drones. The launches have been carried out from Russian territory (Shatalovo, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk) and from quickly occupied Crimea (Hvardiiske).
The Air Power reported that Ukrainian plane, anti-aircraft missile items, digital warfare items, cell hearth teams and unmanned methods items of the defence forces have been concerned in repelling the airstrike.
As of 08:00, 70 Russian drones had been confirmed destroyed or suppressed in Ukraine’s north and east.
In the meantime, 30 UAVs struck 12 settlements within the frontline areas of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts. Particles from downed drones additionally fell in three different areas.
