President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has referred to as a Russian drone assault launched after 17:00 on Saturday 19 April, proof of Russian chief Vladimir Putin's true perspective towards each Easter and human life.

Background:

• On Saturday, Putin declared an Easter truce, which supposedly means a halt to all hostilities in Ukraine from the night of 19 April till midnight on 21 April.
• In the meantime, Russia's Defence Ministry claimed that Russian forces would adhere to the ceasefire, supplied that Kyiv does the identical.
