President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has mentioned with representatives of the Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian parliament) and the federal government the upcoming vote on Thursday on draft legal guidelines to revive the independence of anti-corruption our bodies, notably the Nationwide Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Workplace (SAPO).

- The Verkhovna Rada has a number of draft legal guidelines associated to restoring the independence of NABU and SAPO. Zelenskyy submitted his undertaking after a large-scale protest started gathering close to the President’s Workplace.
- On 25 July, Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk introduced that the president's draft regulation to revive the independence of NABU and SAPO can be thought of on 31 July.
