Russian President Vladimir Putin introduced a short lived ceasefire on the Easter weekend, ordering to halt all army motion from 6 p.m. Moscow time on April 19 till midnight on April 21.
Putin introduced the order throughout a gathering with the Russian Chief of the Normal Employees, Valery Gerasimov, on April 19.
Putin framed the choice as being guided by humanitarian issues. “I order the suspension of all fight operations throughout this era,” he declared. “We assume that the Ukrainian facet will observe our instance,” Putin added.
